(Proposal at about 1 min into video) We were at this beautiful Ayurvedic beach resort overlooking the Indian Ocean and Arabia Sea. I initially planned to propose on the dirt road near the house I was born in Madras (300 miles away) — but couldn’t resist proposing 2 days early at this beautiful place! This resort was USD per night, believe it or not.

Asking my ol lady to marry me on Broken Bow lake….I told her to video me doing a trick with our dogs…little did she know she was in for the suprise of her life!! Got a fake ring at Walmart, hid the real ring in the tackle box. The real ring was my Great Grandmas wedding ring….thank God i didnt drop that in!

Online Wedding Photo Album: [ tr.im ] My then-girlfriend (Kathy, now my wife) and I had walked out of a store in the mall, where I had planned my surprise proposal (08/21/08) for marriage. Unbeknown to her, my Mom & Dad flew in from Virginia and Tim flew in from Wyoming. With her Father (who secretly gave me his blessing 2-months beforehand), my Mom & Dad, and a bunch of our friends who were all hiding in the background, Kathy had no clue that they were there and watching!! So as we walked out of the store, kneeling down as if I had found something on the ground,….(“hey, what’s this?”) and then turned to her holding the engagement ring up in the air and said,… “Kathy, I will always love you,…Will you please marry me?”
