In this hilarious comedy David, a Jewish American, asks Mia, a beautiful African American, to be his wife-but never dreams of what lies ahead. At their engagement party tensions rise and what should be a joyous occasion turns into an all out brawl as the families differences threaten to tear the newly engaged couple apart. Will love prevail?

Thelma! Don’t stoop this low!
Like all African Americans, I just love seeing Thelma from “Good Times.” However, that’s the end of my praise.
