Unusual Wedding Favors

August 4, 2009

If you’ve been to some weddings in the past and have noticed the wedding favors were familiar, or one’s you’ve seen or received at other weddings, and now you’re planning your own wedding and find the wedding favors and wedding invitations you’ve been browsing lately are all starting to look awfully familiar, it could be that many providers carry wedding favors that aren’t necessarily their own, but were purchased in bulk from an outside source.

So how do you get your hands on some unusual wedding favors that are beautiful, striking, and unique?  Keep looking!  There are gorgeous, unusual wedding favors readily available if you look in the right place. And if you still aren’t too thrilled with what you run across initially, know this: you can bring together some lovely elements and come up with not just unusual wedding favors for your guests, but you can “create” your own wedding favors that are truly unique, as they were your own creation!

For example, if you’re not taken by frosted glass coasters decorated with cherry blossoms then you perhaps you’ll opt for “enchanted carriage” wedding favor boxes, and you could place an expensive, French, chocolate bon bon, wrapped in delicate, gold foil in each one.

Or if don’t think “love-sicle” lightly scented Popsicle looking soap bars on sticks will catch your guests’ fancy, you might consider antique ivory-finish “Lucky Elephant” tea light holders, which contain a small candle, or if you prefer, “Let’s Celebrate” champagne flute gel candles might be just what you’re looking for to really make an impression on your guests, leaving an indelible memory your wedding favors were the most unusual…the truly unique wedding favors above all others they might see, and might have seen in recent—or distant—memory!
